The Rail Interiors Awards are designed to recognise and reward design, collaborations and engineering excellence in the international rail-cabin sector.
The Awards have been jointly created by RedCabin and the organisers of The Rail Interiors Show, the international exhibition dedicated to rail-cabin design and technology. Through its Railway Interior Innovation Summits, which explore current and future rail-cabin trends and tackle challenges seen in the industry, RedCabin has successfully created a collaborative space for professionals to network and exchange ideas. The Railway Interior Innovation Summit is set to place October 28th-30th, in Palermo. The Rail Interiors Show is the free-to-attend global exhibition, to be held in Prague, from 24th-25th November 2025. This event showcases nothing but the very latest and next-generation rail-carriage interior design and technology products and concepts.
Judged by a global jury of respected transportation journalists as well as well-known industry experts, the prestigious Awards presentation will take place at The Rail Interiors Show on November 25th 2025.
There are Seven Awards’ categories and there is no cost to enter. The Awards are independent and judges do not receive fees for their contribution. The seven categories are:
- Design Innovation of the Year
- Project Collaboration of the Year
- Technological Innovation of the Year
- Concept of the Year
- New Cabin of the Year
- Rail Cabin of the Year
- Visionary of the Year
The shortlist is compiled by the organisers and the jury. The judging criteria will see winning manufacturers, operators, and suppliers triumph by creating or contributing to rail cabins that enhance the passenger and/or driver environment.
